It's been a good, long while since either myself or Squidbiscuit has felt the need to write an update about rules and such since pretty much all of your guys have been submitting really lovely works and being just as pleasant as can be. ♥
But a little while ago, we had someone send us about 30 deviations that they wanted to be sent to club. Not only was it troublesome having to go through all of this person's stuff, but a lot of it was of sub-par quality and semi-traced. It wasn't a huge thing, so we let it be. But then, today, this same person re-submitted everything we rejected originally AND THEN some.
So, in loo of that, here's some basic little rules of this club:
The submission limit is three per day.
Or at least it should be. I'm pretty sure I set that as the standard. If I happen to have not, and you submit, like, 4 or 5, it's not a huge deal, but otherwise we'll just consider it spamming and decline every single piece whether acceptable or not.
There is going to be a standard of quality.
No, not one of those things where we only select THE highest of quality works. We know everyone is of different skill levels, and we acknowledge that, but if you're trying to submit traced things or partially done things just so it can be in a club, then take it somewhere else, please.
No official art, screen shots, etc.
You guys have been pretty good about this, but no, we do not accept those here.
And that includes motivational posters. You did not draw the picture, it is not yours. Unless of course you DID draw the picture, and so long as it's not traced or anything, it may be considered.
No fan characters.
Even if they're with other Supernovae. We don't care.
There are other clubs that will accept art of your OC and an existing OP character, but it's not us.
And that's the biggest points for now.
Like I said, this doesn't apply to most of you, but a little heads up for those that it dose.
